With everything crazy going on I began to realize I was hitting my breaking point. The daily waves of negative energy, fear and anxiety running through my system all day long as a result of constantly checking the news, having endless conversations with no real solutions, and drinking coffee.
I did a lot in 2018. But most importantly, I managed to survive another long trip around the sun, and I plan to do it again in 2019 despite how hot it continues to get on this crazy planet.

Google search Taipei, and a slew of “things to do” articles appears. Most of them contain the usual suspects—visit the CKS memorial, go to the top of the Taipei 101. All great things but I think we can do better.
Sometimes the easiest way to understand brands is to think about them as people. there are generally three types of people in your life: People you don't like, people you are indifferent to, and people you love.

Foreigners in Taipei love to remark on the bad English they see all over the place—the 'Chinglish' as it's often referred to—especially on websites, ads, and brand packaging. But what's more interesting to me is just how much English there is in the first place…
Blogging. Just when I thought that perhaps blogging was dead (I swear someone said that to me ) it's become the biggest, and most important, thing ever in the universe again. No really. Everyone I listen to and look to for advice these days…
Branding. It's one of those words—like creativity, art, or innovation—that feels hard to clearly define. The problem, or perhaps the blessing, is that engaging in conversations on the 'how's-and-why's and the what-to-dos of branding can become…
During my yoga practice this morning I suddenly thought about some of the conversations I’ve seen on how the coronavirus pandemic could alter the way we live and see our lives after it’s all said and done. I really hope it does.
